Located within the vicinity of Kaohsiung City where districts Zuyoing and Nantze intersect, and just northeast of Lianchihtan, directly opposite of Gueishan (Mt.Guei), the Banpingshan is a spindle of a mountain in a NE-SW direction, with peak at about 222 meters above sea level, maximum 2,800 km in length and 0.9 km in width. Traffic Information: Kaohsiung MRT has drilled the one-and-only tunnel across this mountain between the stations Zuoying and World Games of its entire mass transit line. In fact, when the World Games Station was still under construction, the interim name then used was Banpingshan.
